Even with the past year and a half of Covid and lockdowns… our former students and collaborators have kept themselves busy….

Sinead Ralston – In post production with her short film THE DAY I DIDN’T which she wrote, self financed and directed. Her feature script MARIANA TRENCH, which she wrote and developed in the 10 week advanced class, was one of only 10 titles to be selected for pitch at this years Galway Film Festival.

Helen Adams – 1st Runner-Up for the Short Screenplay Award at the 2021 Catalyst International Film Festival for her script BUTTERFLY MOUNTAIN (based on her final week’s assignment from the Intro to Screenwriting class)

Janna Kemperman – Awarded the Focus Short film award 2020 from Screen Training Ireland to produce and shoot the short script COW which was written by another former student, Aisling Corristine. Directed both the ANY DREAMS? and the OH MY GOD OH CANADA music videos for folk/electropop group SAINT SISTER.

Sarah Kate O’Connor – 2021 graduate from the London Film School MA Screenwriting program.

Angelica Litsou – In post production with SO YOU MARRIED A MANNEQUIN. A short comedy  which she has written, produced and directed herself.

Rosie Barrett – Directed multiple music videos this year, including Gemma Dunleavy’s UP DE FLATS and SO SIMPATICO by multi award winning indie folk band VILLAGERS.

Aurelie Gauthier – Her animated short film LOOKING FOR FREEDOM continues to be selected for numerous festivals including this years Dublin International Film festival.

Chiara Viale – Her new feature length screenplay (developed with the assistance of Screen Ireland) 11 RAGMAN STREET has been included in Filmarket Hub’s Celtic Talent Showcase. This year her IndieCork best feature film award winner THE NEW MUSIC (which she wrote, directed and produced) was released digitally in Ireland and the UK on iTunes, Amazon and Sky Store.

Erin Zhurkin – Erin adapted her Advanced class feature screenplay into a novel, PLUS SIZE IN PARIS is available on her website here… erinzhurkin.com
